The Role of the Governing Body:
The core strategic function of the Governing Body is:

  • Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school
  • Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils and the performance of staff; and
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.

At Pennington Church of England Primary School we share Christian values and God’s love through our teaching and learning.
